This page, like much else here in student life, contains terms that are not always easy to understand. Therefore, we have tried to collect terms that we throw around on this page so that people can easily look them up.

AFK - SIS old premises, Sexistenz new premises. Also the name of SIS' new premises.
Academic quarter - The quarter that is added to full hours if the time indication does not specify a few minutes. Example: 17 means 17:15, 16:00 means 16:00. Exception: after 6 p.m. it's half past two. Example: 18 means 18:30, 19:00 means 19:00, 20:30 means 20:30.
Blekinge studentkår - The student union that monitors the quality of the educations at Blekinge University of Technology.

The dance band - See Sexistenz.
Dônk - Drink of the gods
Drägg - Drunk students who crawl around and do nothing more sensible than consume alcohol.
Expen - The Blekinge Student Union's office is next to the library on the second floor of the H building.
Gasque - Seating where the dress code is a dark suit.
Hemhem - The city/village you consider to be your hometown.
Hemtenta - The exam that can be taken at home.
Högskolepoäng - Such points you get upon completion of the course. Invention by the government to determine whether you get money from them or not.
Indiska - Galgamarkens Pizza & Indian food also known as Pappa Curry. Easily the best place for students to eat. Located a stone's throw from the school.
Introduktionsvecka - Welcome to the new students.
Kansliet - Blekinge student union's old office in the union building
Karen - A website with code that makes people sad.
Kauren - The student pub in Karlshamn.
KRAVALL - REQUIREMENT for overalls is a drab kind of sitting where outerwear is a must.
Kår- och nationsobligatoriets fall - In 2010, the union and nation obligation was abolished, so it was no longer mandatory to be a member of the student union or the nation.
Kåren - Abbreviation of the student union. Also used to refer to the student pub Villan, which is located above the college, for example: "Should we go to the kåren tonight?"
LP - Reading period, these four periods divide an academic year in an exciting way. At the end of each term there is usually an exam.
Overall - Also called ovve. The ultimate party garment adorned with lots of brands. Worn down cabbed and with any vest.
Phadder - Guidance counselor for the new students. Always there for support.
Phest - You must know what this is anyway.
Psångbok - A book of songs.
Punsch - Liquid Gold.
Rotundan - The old student pub in Karlskrona.
Sexistenz – Sexmästeriet in Karlskrona.
Slasque - Gasque meets KRAVALL.
Smoersex – Sexmästeriet in Karlshamn.
Teknologmössa - See about the "technologist's cap"
Tenta – The exam, usually the hall exam.
Villan - The student pub in Karlskrona.
